Is there a market for selling green pet products???
Has anyone found decent green pet products that are sold?
If anyone one has any information on where you can find the products.
Or if anyone has any suggestions on what they would like to see offered that is green for their pets.

I think there is a huge market for green pet products!
Petsmart sells Green toys (recycled material that are shaped like endangered animals and i think some of the money goes to WWF or something)
Petsmart also has biodegradable poop scoop bags, which are nice, but pricey
organic food is also a good idea, my dog gets food with human grade ingredients, the book Fast Food Nation made me not want to feed him most brands of food

I couldn’t care less if something is ‘green’ or not, for me or my pets - what ever is the most affordable and highest quality is what gets my vote -so I rarely buy something that is considered ‘green’ because it is just too expensive.
The food I buy for my dogs is organic “human grade”, and the same with my birds pelleted feed, but only because it’s the best food I can buy for them for the lowest price.

Depends on what it is and if it is truly “green.” There is no universal definition of a green product and many things claiming to be be green aren’t. So I am careful about falling for the green label unless the product manufacturer can explain to me how it is green and better than a traditional product.

Yes, there most definately IS a market for green pet foods. I see the items being offered in regular pet stores, as well as specialty stores. There’s one right down the street from my work here in SoCal. It’s called “Pets Naturally”. You should look it up.
